What are the standards set by the Insurance Code?  How is the insurance industry perceived by the customer?  What does it take to not alienate the customers?  This course discusses how a little customer service and a lot of attention to the law goes a long way in creating customer loyalty.

A course about consumer expectations of agents and adjusters and things the consumer does that we need to be aware of.  Sometimes the consumer’s expectations and what we can deliver are not the same.  You can’t break the law just to keep them happy and you still have to deliver good customer service.

Fraud Awareness - An Ethics Course
What is fraud? Where is it happening?  How can you report it?  This course identifies sources of fraud that we all need to be aware of.  Fraud costs everyone money!  You are the judge of some cases where it appears to be fraud, but if everyone is doing it…is it wrong?  Included are some Red Flags of Fraud to watch out for.

How’s Your Ethics?
This course introduces the Texas Insurance Code for agents and adjusters then has an ethical dilemma or two to review.  What is against the law and what if it is just ethics and not the law?  Scenarios are presented that show that sometimes it is an individual’s integrity and the law that create personal ethics.

The Ethical Dilemma and The Law
When is it ethics and when is it the law? A review of the agent and adjuster TDI laws and dilemmas to determine: Where does the golden rule come in? Class discussion is prevalent in this class as we cover “ethical dilemmas.”  Members are sorted into teams to solve some ethical dilemmas and mete out the punishment!
