Mary Roth
MARY ROTH CPCU began her career in the insurance industry over 25 years ago.
Starting her career with the St. Paul companies, she gained experience in rating, underwriting and management. When she went to work for Nationwide, she gained valuable expertise as a commercial lines agent.
Staff Training Programs was founded in 1999. Three major carriers approached her to come and do pre-licensing directly for them. Continuing education classes evolved and have been added to the mix.
Her unique sense of humor and joy for teaching make Staff Training Programs the place to come to for good CE. Great stories combined with her vast technical expertise make the classes fun yet provide a good grasp of the knowledge presented.
Active in the insurance industry, Mary is a member of and has served as President for the Fort Worth Chapter of CPCU, is a member of the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers as well as the National Association of Health Underwriters. She is also a member of the National Speakers Association, the American Business Women’s Association and Toastmaster’s International.
She is available to come to your office to do prelicensing training and continuing education. She is also available for Keynote speeches or seminars.
Michelle Tooley
Michelle Tooley is the administrative assistant for Staff Training Programs. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Primary Education from Edith Cowan University, A Bachelor of Education Conversion Course for Qualified Teachers from Curtin University, and a Graduate Certificate in Education Studies specializing in early childhood education from Murdoch University all in Australia. She was in the top 5% of her class for this course.
She worked for two years as a teacher in the outback. She taught all academic classes and also coordinated and organized school fitness programs and managed interschool athletics for middle and high school events. From the outback, she moved to work as a substitute teacher in the metropolitan areas of London, England.
Returning to Perth Western Australia she became Cluster Leader. That included working with the Principal and other school leaders to provide staff and student support, curriculum management and development and administrative work within the school system.
In 2006 she moved to Texas to work with Mary Roth Staff Training Programs. Her work includes the organization and coordination of the Continuing Education classes, customer assistance and developing future courses. She recently received her General Lines Agent Property and Casualty license and is a member of the Federation of Insurance Women of Texas, Toastmasters and the National Speakers Association.
Her hobbies include traveling and playing and watching most sports. She has traveled throughout the USA, Europe, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Her most recent travels include a trip to Peru, Fiji and Australia and then returning to the US in early 2006. America will be her home in the future as she pursues a career in business and public speaking.
